About the Film:
In “Forgetfulness”, another Billy Collins poem, director Julian Grey uses a collage approach. Combining disparate images and type, he selectively erases people and backgrounds, and scratches and bleaches the medium itself, all to create the impression of thoughts slipping away, memories fading. This piece was commissioned by the JWT NY for the Sundance Channel Action Poetry Series.
