Simon Armitage has published nine volumes of poetry, most recently The Universal Home Doctor and Travelling Songs (Faber). He also writes for radio, television and film, is the author of four stage plays, including Mister Heracles, as well as two novels, Little Green Man and The White Stuff (both Penguin).
